DESCRIPTION:Gift of Life USA presents “Wellness in the Family,” a guided conversation about mental health and the family. Whether you know of someone struggling with mental health issues (e.g., depression and/or anxiety) in or outside of your family, our goal is to raise awareness and educate about mental health and the role of the family; reflect on how we are called to support individuals experiencing mental health conditions; and, model healthy dialogue about mental health. Family, along with faith, are protective factors that can help individuals with mental health issues learn to thrive no matter their given circumstances.
